A £50 refundable security deposit must be paid direct to the Noisy Lobster shop upon collection of the key. The refund of the deposit will be issued a minimum of 24 hours after the end of the hire period once the Occasion Hut is checked for any loss, damage or breach of our Ts & Cs. At busier periods, it make take longer for us to get back to you. The refund will be done via phone call as the shop does not hold card details for security & GDPR purposes. Once we have issued the refund over the phone, this may take a few business days to show up in your bank account and is fully out of our control.

Beach Hut Hire Rules and Conditions:

Hire period runs from 9am until Dusk.
Full payment would be required up front.
No single sex parties or groups of unaccompanied teenagers are accepted.
No loud music or disruptive behaviour. This could result in immediate removal from Avon Beach premises with no refund for any unused time.
All litter and personal belongings must be removed from the beach hut upon departure. Please do not leave bin bags by the side of bins as seagulls etc will be attracted to them and tear them apart. I regret confetti is not allowed.
No overnight sleeping is permitted.
All beach huts are covered by the no smoking policy.
Beach Huts / The Beach cannot be used to sell goods to the public.
Avon Beach Ltd is not liable for loss of services for periods under 2 hours and in the event of power failure will endeavour to rectify the situation as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee the weather so regret there will be no refunds or date exchanges due to rain etc.
Please be aware that the person hiring the hut accepts liability for using any of their own electrical equipment and also for the full cost of any damage caused to the hut or contents.
Please respect other beach users and do not obstruct other beach huts.
Deckchairs may be place on the decking or a maximum of 2 chairs on the promenade. Large groups and tables must be on the beach in order to keep part of the promenade clear for people who wish to walk, wheelchair users and emergency vehicles.
Please ensure the beach hut is properly secured at night. It is suggested that high value items are not left in the beach huts. The proprietors shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any property of the licencee or any other person for the time being therein, however such loss or damage shall be caused.
Anyone hiring a hut who is found to break the rules or is rude or abusive to other beach users or staff may be asked to leave with no refund for any unused time, and will forfeit their security deposit.
Occupation of the hut is deemed to be acceptance of these rules and liability.

Avon Beach Rules and Regulations:

All car park charges apply as they are not included in the hire price.
No vehicles allowed on the prom between 9.30am and 7pm. Anyone wishing to access the prom at any time must seek permission from Avon Beach Ltd whereby full rules will be issued.
Vehicles must not exceed 5mph and both headlights and hazard light must be on.
Dogs are welcome off lead on the beach from 1 October to 30 April (at other times dogs are not allowed). Dogs must be kept on leads on the promenades at all times.
You can have a BBQ on the beach after 6.00pm but please note that only charcoal or gas barbeques can be used, no open fires are permitted. Please dispose of your BBQ safely and responsibly and ensure that you dowse hot coals first. Cinder bins are available in various locations.
You are welcome to put up a gazebo on the beach.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation with two weeks notice or less will result in NO refund from the hire price.
Cancellation between two weeks and exactly one calendar months notice will result in a 50% refund of the hire price.
Cancellation with more than 1 calendar months notice will result in a full refund less £25 administration charge.
We offer a cooling off period of 7 days after the date of booking. Any cancellations within this period will result in a full refund, UNLESS the above policies apply.
