Parking: Avon Beach Car Park is conveniently located right next to the beach, just off Mudeford Road at BH23 4AN . The car park can often be busy, find alternative parking at Avon Run Road Car Park at BH23 4DX , or you can find on-road parking along Avon Run Road or in the nearby residential streets.

Water-sports: Avon Beach is a popular spot for watersports such as surfing, kitesurfing and sea-bathing.

Lifeguarding: Lifeguard patrol times vary from mid July through to September. Visit RNLI Lifeboats to find out more.
